Room was efficient but bathroom was so small. It was impossible to sleep because the dogs across the street barked all night long and the rooster across the street must have thought the streetlight was the sunrise because it cockadoodledoo’d all night long too. There were a LOT of stairs to get to my room. It was a hike! The location is ok, you’re a few blocks up to the tianguis. There’s a little restaurant across the street from this hotel that is excellent!!! It is a nursery/home/restaurant combo. I had quite possibly one of the best pizzas in my life here, only second to Naples. I’ll add a photo of the restaurant.

TV needs to be programmed. Hot water needs to be on all the time. They have a bar and restaurant, however, neither service is offered. Other than that it's a very cozy old world place. Nice architecture, great staff.

Had 4 nights reserved, room we were placed had coachroches and no AC. They moved us to another room and said due to inconvenience. Next day, upon our return from exploring the town, we were asked to move to another room, which we weren't told that the initial move was only for 1 night. We were told to stay in that room we had to pay the difference in price. When requesting to cancel the owner basically didn't care and we were told due to cancelation fees we'd get refunded for 1 night. Area is situated at least 15-20 min walk to main plaza. Place is nice but no customer service. 😕

If you are prone to allergic reactions, DO NOT STAY HERE By now, I've easily stayed in at least 100 hotels, and this is the only place where I've had an allergic reaction. My ear, half of my face, my neck, and various parts of my body swelled. As soon as I woke up from the itch at 12am, I went downstairs to the lobby to show them and let them know I was going to the farmacy. The lady offered to change me to another room, but that was not going to solve the issue. I didn't sleep that night since I couldn't be in contact with the bedsheets. (Believe me, there were no bed bugs, I know an allergic reaction when I have one) I understand that there wasn't much they could have done to solve my issue at that precise moment, but they made no attempt to compensate, or at the very least, to contact me afterwards. It is a beautiful and convenient hotel, but they do not care about their guests.
